Island Stone Carving Class for kids.

Create your own unique stone memory of our Island. Island Artist Peter Llewellyn has a beginner class during the month of July and August for our younger visitors who would like to work with our Island Sandstone. This outdoor class is about 2 hours and will allow your child to create and bring home his or her own special piece of PEI. Basic projects include a stone relief carving of a Blue Heron or the 3 dimension carving of a PEI lobster boat Small power tools are used under supervision. Class space is limited so please call ahead.

Peter also has a beginner class during July and August in jewelry making for the young visitor to PEI. Bring your own piece of sea glass to our studio or pick a piece from our island sea glass collection to create that special present or souvenir. A 2 hour course and demonstration where young people can learn to create pendants, earrings or rings from sea glass . This course is fun for both girls and boys. Class space is limited however my studio is right on the harbour in Georgetown and offers an excellent opportunity to shop or sit on the deck , view the class, the scenery and have a cup of coffee or tea Please call ahead to register for this free class.
