Island Inspired DESIGNS
Georgetown
Prince Edward Island

Artist, Peter Llewellyn, is a sixth generation Islander whose roots go deep into Georgetown, PEI, and this is where he lives with this wife Gayle,
and is inspired to create his unique designs in his coastal studio.

Georgetown is located in eastern Prince Edward Island, on the Point’s East Drive. The Historic Town and its harbor are bounded on the
north by the Cardigan River, and on the south by the Brudenell and Montague Rivers, commonly referred to as the Historic Three Rivers Area.

tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor…

Not quite, but how about
fisherman, sailor, executive, artist ?

The Town overlooks one of the finest natural harbors in Atlantic Canada, due to its deep waters and shelter from the open sea.
Beaches around the peninsula are plentiful and are perfect for numerous water-related activities. Come take a walk or cycle on our
waterfront boardwalk and enjoy the views from our lookouts. The sunsets in Georgetown are some of the best on the island.

The presence of lush trees that line the streets of the County Capital provides a pleasant experience as you take the walking tour
that leads you past the charming historical and modern facets of the community. Georgetown is a true PEI experience, a real working
fishing town, with fabulous restaurants, a waterfront boardwalk, a playhouse, boat tours and a Historic Inn.

Buildings in the Town reveal the area's historical nature and its modern reality. Almost one half of all residential units were built
prior to 1950, with approximately one third of all buildings 75 years or older.
